Michael Moore, known for his eye-opening documentaries, the founder of the  Traverse City Film Festival honoured Jane Fonda (she certainly does not look 80 years old) with a Lifetime Achievement Award. She has received during her long career many awards and among those an Emmy Award for The Dollmaker (1984).  As of late she was playing in the movie Book Club (2018).
